Stardupp Neoprene Repair Kit
Repair your neoprene quickly and effectively
With the Stardupp Neoprene Repair Kit, you can easily repair damage to your wetsuit, neoprene accessories or other gear. Whether it’s small holes, tears or larger damage, this kit gives you everything you need to restore your gear and keep it waterproof and functional.
Which repair method should you use?
Small holes or punctures (no material missing)
→ Use neoprene glue
For small holes or cuts where the material is still intact, glue is the best solution. It fills the hole and creates a flexible, waterproof seal.
Small damage / surface tears
→ Use repair tape
For minor damage without missing neoprene, repair tape is a quick and clean solution. Especially effective on the inside of a wetsuit.
Larger holes or tears (material missing)
→ Use neoprene patch + glue
If part of the neoprene is missing, a patch is required. Glue alone will not be sufficient.
How to use the repair tape
- Make sure the surface is clean and dry
- Cut a piece of tape slightly larger than the damaged area
- Place the tape over the damaged area (preferably on the inside)
- Apply heat carefully (for example with an iron) to activate the adhesive
- Press firmly and allow it to cool
The tape bonds to the neoprene through heat and provides a quick, flexible repair. Ideal for small tears or weak spots.
How to use the neoprene patch (sheet)
- Cut a piece of neoprene slightly larger than the hole
- Round the corners to reduce the risk of peeling
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of grease
- Apply a thin layer of neoprene glue to the damaged area and/or the patch
- Place the patch over the hole and press firmly
- Let the glue fully cure according to instructions
For best results, apply the patch on the inside of the neoprene. You can apply light pressure while curing to improve adhesion.
How to use the neoprene glue
- Apply a thin layer of glue to the damaged area
- Let it dry briefly and build up the layer if needed (2–3 applications)
- Allow to fully cure for a waterproof and flexible finish
Practical and durable
Repairing your neoprene extends the lifespan of your gear and prevents unnecessary replacement. Ideal for wetsuits, gloves, boots and other neoprene products.
